How seller trust works
No paid badges. No fake reviews. Our Trust Tier system uses real performance data to rate every seller on UPshop — automatically.
🔍 How It Works
Every store on UPshop starts as a New Seller. As they fulfill orders and build a track record, our system automatically evaluates their performance and upgrades their trust tier. This happens in the background — sellers don't apply or pay for badges.
We measure three things:
Orders Fulfilled
How many orders they've successfully completed
Account Age
How long they've been active on UPshop
Cancellation Rate
Percentage of orders cancelled by the seller
🏅 Trust Tiers Explained
| Tier | Requirements |
|---|---|
| 🆕 New | Just created their store |
| ✅ Active |
10+ orders fulfilled 30+ days active |
| 🏆 Reliable |
50+ orders fulfilled 90+ days active Under 5% cancellation rate |
🛒 For Buyers
- ✓ Look for the ✅ Active or 🏆 Reliable badge on store pages before ordering
- ✓ Trust badges are earned, not bought — they reflect real performance data
- ✓ Browse our Trusted Sellers directory to find stores with an earned trust tier
- ✓ All orders include a unique reference number for tracking and accountability
- ✓ Place your order on UPshop, then pay only to the account shown on that order's private payment page — never to details sent later in chat or social media.
🛍️ For Sellers — How to Earn Your Badge
Fulfill orders promptly
Mark orders as fulfilled in your dashboard after delivery. This is the #1 factor.
Keep your cancellation rate low
Avoid cancelling orders. Only accept orders you can fulfill.
Stay active
Keep your store updated with accurate stock and pricing. The longer your track record, the better.
It happens automatically
No forms to fill, no reviews to request. When you meet the thresholds, your badge upgrades automatically.
Share your UPshop link
When buyers order through your store link, you can update the order and build a clear fulfilment record. Chat is still useful for questions, but it does not replace the order flow.
