This Refund Policy applies to subscription payments made to UPshop (operated by Techvilla Technologies Ltd). Please read this policy carefully before purchasing any subscription plan.

2. Subscription Payments

UPshop offers subscription plans that are billed on a monthly, quarterly, yearly, or lifetime basis. All subscription payments are processed securely through Paystack.

3. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following circumstances:

  • Within 7 days of purchase: If you are not satisfied with our service, you may request a full refund within 7 days of your initial subscription purchase.
  • Service unavailability: If our service experiences significant downtime (more than 48 consecutive hours) that prevents you from using your subscription, you may be eligible for a prorated refund.
  • Duplicate charges: If you were charged multiple times for the same subscription, we will refund the duplicate charges in full.

4. Non-Refundable Items

The following are NOT eligible for refunds:

  • Subscriptions after the 7-day refund window
  • Lifetime subscriptions after 14 days of purchase
  • Partial months or unused portions of subscription periods (except for documented service issues)
  • Subscriptions suspended or terminated due to Terms of Service violations

5. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  2. Include your registered email address and order reference
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request

We will review your request and respond within 3-5 business days.

6. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed within 7-10 business days. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used for the purchase. Please note that your bank may take additional time to reflect the refund in your account.

7. Customer Orders (Merchant Transactions)

Important: UPshop does not process payments between merchants and their customers. All customer payments go directly to the merchant's bank account. Therefore, refund requests for products or services purchased from merchants must be directed to the merchant directly.

UPshop is not responsible for refunds, disputes, or chargebacks arising from transactions between merchants and their customers.

8. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your dashboard. Upon cancellation:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
  • You will not be charged for subsequent periods
  • Your account will revert to the free tier after the subscription expires
  • Your data (products, categories, orders) will be retained but products beyond the free tier limit will be hidden
